After nearly two decades delivering large-scale results in financial services across Canada and the Americas, I’ve launched Coastline Finshore Partners—fueled by a deep belief in the Dominican Republic’s untapped potential as a nearshoring powerhouse. This decision is the product of hard-earned experience, particularly in leading what would become one of the largest nearshoring operations in the Caribbean financial sector.

What began simply as Project Franklin became one of the most defining chapters of my career. We weren’t just building an operation—we were laying the foundation for something extraordinary. Beyond the spreadsheets and projections, this was about forging a community, shaping a culture, and crafting a legacy that would endure.

The blueprint was written before the world changed—but its execution came during one of the most turbulent times in recent history. Amid global lockdowns and unprecedented uncertainty, a team of exceptional individuals brought the vision to life. Together, we transformed challenge into momentum, scaling the operation to over 2,000 professionals. The business case I led helped secure $80 million in startup funding—fueling what would become a flagship nearshore presence.

Once in the Dominican Republic, I had the privilege of building alongside a committed team—driving everything from talent strategy to on-the-ground execution. What emerged was not just an operation, but a movement. Many of the leaders who shaped it have since gone on to lead transformative efforts of their own, carrying forward the spirit of resilience, innovation, and purpose that defined our journey together.

Recognition and Awards: Our dedication to building an authentic, values-driven culture consistently earned regional and industry recognition. From 2021 to 2024, the operation was ranked among the top employers in the Caribbean and Central America—earning top placements in Employers for Youth (including multiple 1st and 2nd place rankings) and in Great Place to Work, where it was repeatedly recognized as a leading workplace overall and for women across the region.

The result? A model of operational excellence and a national case study in what nearshoring can truly achieve when done right. While the project would later be rebranded and absorbed into broader corporate naming conventions, the foundation, execution, and impact remain rooted in the original vision—one born from the Dominican Republic, for Canada, the Caribbean and South America.

We exist to help companies rethink how and where financial services are delivered—leveraging the Dominican Republic’s bilingual talent, cultural compatibility, and geographic advantage to create strategic, sustainable solutions for North American firms.
